Full description
The Spyderco Byrd Robin 2 Wharncliffe is a small but practical knife for everyday use. Instead of the classic leaf shape, this blade is a Wharncliffe. This is a variant of the sheepsfoot, but with a straight edge. This version has a serrated edge. Perfect for opening boxes. The 8cr13MoV steel blade can easily be opened with the comet-shaped hole. When opened, the blade is locked by a decent and reliable back lock. As an extra safety precaution this back lock has been enhanced with a so-called Boye-dent; a crescent-shaped cut-out that makes sure the knife won't close during heavy-duty use.
