The **Reate T3000** is a compact pocket knife, designed by Tashi Bharucha, a world-famous French knife maker and designer. His knives usually have a futuristic, artistic look, and the T3000 is no exception. This knife clearly showcases the artistic lines and dramatic shapes that are so characteristic of Bharucha's design style.

The T3000 has lots of cool details. The handle, for instance. It is comprised of two titanium parts that are milled so that they form the handle when pushed together. As a result, there's no need for a backspacer or standoffs between the two scales. Not only is this difficult to produce, but the handle even looks like it's made from one piece of titanium. Just like an integral handle construction. The lanyard hole is another neat detail. Because of the design of the two scales, Reate was able to subtly incorporate the lanyard hole into the spine of the handle. Incredibly unique! There are superb facets on the rest of the handle, ensuring a comfortable grip. The pocket clip is also worth mentioning. It is made from one piece of titanium and follows the lines of the handle nicely. Everything is held together by stunning green anodized screws. The T3000 has a marble carbon fibre inlay in the handle.

And last but not least, the blade. It's made from M390 steel, an Austrian super steel, which is one of the best high-end choices at the moment. M390 has truly excellent sharpness retention and corrosion resistance. In terms of finish, the grind is satin-finished and there is a stonewashed finish on the flat parts of the blade. You open the T3000 with the flipper, which is easy to use despite its diminutive size.
