The **MKM Hero** is a high-quality pocket knife for everyday use. The handle's beautiful design in combination with the stunning titanium bolsters are what give the MKM Hero its stylish looks. You open the blade with the thumb stud. Once opened, the blade is locked by a solid backlock. To carry the Hero with you, the knife has a switchable pocket clip, so you can carry it on your left or on you right side. With its sleek design and excellent finish, the MKM Hero is a reliable and versatile choice for any cutting task.

The relatively thick blade is made from Böhler M390 steel, a stainless type of steel from Austria that is extremely wear-resistant and has an excellent sharpness retention. One of the most popular choices at the moment. The handle is made from SureTouch G10. This is a composite material made from glass fibre, synthetic resin and rubber. The bolster is made from titanium. 

## What are the origins of MKM Knives?

MKM is a cooperation between Viper, LionSteel, Fox and Mercury. Four masters working in the Italian knife industry. It is no coincidence that they all come from the city of Maniago in northern Italy. It is the knife capital of the south of Europe. MKM stands for Maniago Knife Makers.
