KA-BAR Fighter 1271 partially serrated, fixed knife, kydex sheath

The KA-BAR Fighter 1271 is very large and feels solid. In terms of size this knife falls in between the KA-BAR 1217 and the KA-BAR Big Brother. The Fighter is also enhanced with the design features of both. The handle is enhanced with protective parts to make sure you will never end up on the razor-sharp edge during heavy-duty use. The handle is made from Kraton. A rubber-like material that offers enough grip regardless of the circumstances. The blade is made from 1095-carbon steel. This steel, however, is not corrosion-resistant. Fortunately the blade is enhanced with a black coating to make sure maintenance is a lot easier.
