## Rick Hinderer, the man behind the knives


Throughout his life Rick Hinderer worked as a blacksmith, horse trainer and firefighter. He used the experience he gained during these demanding professions in all his designs. His philosophy is as follows: a knife is a tool that should work for you, and never the other way around. For this reason Hinderer knives are made to be used.
