About OXO

OXO was founded in 1990 when Sam Farber designed a new kind of peeler for his beloved wife Betsey. Betsey's mild arthritis created a problem: using old-fashioned metal peeler was a struggle. That's when Sam got to work designing a peeler that would change the market forever. Their 'GoodGrips' handle proved to be a hit. Today, OXO is a company with a strong community engagement.
