Features of the Buck 110

The Buck 110 is perhaps the most legendary pocket knife ever been made. When thinking of a pocket knife many people often think of the Buck 110, whether intentionally or unintentionally. It is also significant that this model is perhaps the most copied pocket knife ever. Of course, we only sell the real deal.

Buck 110: the first popular backlock.

This was one of the first large-scale produced pocket knives enhanced with a backlock. This robust system is known for its simplicity, reliability and user friendliness. The backlock works with a spring-loaded metal plate, the 'back', which flips up when the knife is opened and locks the blade. To fold the blade back into the handle, you need to press down on the metal plate, releasing the lock and allowing you to close the knife. The Buk 110 is the model that made this lock popular. Throughout the years, Buck has produced millions of Buck 110 knives.

Buck's famous Bos heat treatment

Connoisseurs know that Buck works closely with Paul Bos for the heat treatment of the blades. He is an absolute master when it comes to hardening steel. He knows how to get the most out of a specific type of steel and makes sure that the steel performs optimally.

Versions of the Buck 110 knife

As is common for successful knives, different versions of the Buck 110 were introduced throughout the years. There are, for instance, versions made with modern materials, and even versions that can be opened with one hand. The essence, however, remains the same Buck 110 knife that was first introduced in 1964.
