The Fenix LD12 is a superb, top-quality, compact LED torch that is equipped with a highly efficient and powerful Cree XP-G2 LED (R5). The torch has four light modes (maximum 320 ANSI* lumens, strobe and S.O.S. function) and runs on 1 x AA penlite batteries (akaline, lithium, or rechargeable NiMH).   
  


This new model features a light mode selection switch incorporated in the head.

*The specification of the light intensity is carried out in accordance with the NEMA FL 1-2009 standard. This means that the values can be lower than indicated in previous specifications. This lower value obviously does not affect the light intensity of the torch. The advantage of having the ANSI / NEMA FL 1-2009 standard is that the values can easily be compared with one another and give a true reflection of daily practice.

dit lampje heb ik aangeschaft omdat mijn trouwe Fenix LD10 niet meer te repareren was (heel jammer)
voor het grootste gedeelte ben ik zeer blij met het lampje.
ik moet erg wennen aan het knopje op de lampkop om de lichtsterkte te veranderen, maar das meer omdat dat bij mijn LD10 met de knop achterop ging.
het enige echte minpunt vind ik dat het geleverde licht niet egaal wit is, er zit een rare gele ring in het licht wat mijn vorige lampje niet had.
hierdoor is niet alles waar je op schijnt dezelfde kleur, heel irritant.

Gekocht ter vervanging van mijn kwijtgeraakte Fenix L1T v2.0.

♦Makkelijk regelbaar dmv extra knop zonder allerlei onlogische instellingen
♦Te gebruiken om mee te seinen
♦Kan in tegenstelling tot L1T wel officieel overweg met de oplaadbare 3.7V Lithium accu's
♦Rolt niet (wel op echt schuine vlakken)

Minpunten;
♦De LD12 is helaas ietsjes langer dan de L1T
♦Kan net zoals de L1T niet op zijn achterste staan
♦Wordt zonder holster geleverd

Perfect flashlight, simple, sturdy, powerful enough, operates with a single AA battery (although I use Fenix 14500 rechargeable battery for better performance), the only thing to improve for me would a dual way clip, so you can attach the torch to a baseball cap for example, but if you turn the clip around you can use it that way. 

Handig lampje. De bediening vind ik erg fijn. Vooral dat de laatste stand blijft ingesteld als je het lampje uit en weer aanzet. Lichtsterkte valt me iets tegen, maar dat komt door de AA batterij. Dus ik heb inmiddels een 14500 oplaadbare batterij besteld

Deze Fenix LD12 voor mijn zoon van 9 jaar gekocht. Een goede kwaliteit zaklamp en omdat de felste stand slechts 150 lumen is, wel veilig voor een kind. Een gewone (oplaadbare) AA batterij is niet heel geschikt voor de felste stand maar de andere lichtstanden zijn prima. Een groot pluspunt is de aangename tint van het licht en de eenvoudige bediening. Een nadeel van de eenvoudige bediening is dan wel dat als de Fenix LD12 in de een na laagste stand brand en je wil naar de laagste stand dan moet je doorklikken via de twee felste standen. Maar deze zaklamp is zeker een aanrader!
