This **Wüsthof wooden cutting board** is a very solid cutting board made of sturdy beech wood. This wood protects the edges of knives to make sure they retain their sharpness. The wood is namely softer than the blade of the knife. The cutting board is 50 cm long, 40 cm wide and has a thickness of 5 cm. As well as finely cutting and slicing, you can also use this massive board as a chopping block.

## Maintaining and cleaning your cutting board

To keep your cutting board in great shape, maintenance is key. That is why we recommend that you add oil to the board before first use and repeat this process every month for the first six months.

Cleaning the board after use is a piece of cake. Rinse the board under the tap and clean it with a cloth. If necessary you can also use a little detergent. Never put the board in the dishwasher, as it isn't dishwasher-safe. Don't leave it to soak in water and allow the board to dry upright. Degelijke en grote snijplank, eenvoudig in onderhoud en door de grootte ideaal voor het betere snijwerk van 'grote' ingrediënten zoals prei etc.

Aandachtspuntje: ZWAAR - is geen nadeel per se want dat geeft ook stabiliteit - maar verwacht niet dat je deze even tussen duim en wijsvinger opneemt.

Excellent article bien que d'un prix (à mon avis) un peu excessif... ce n'est jamais que du hêtre en plusieurs parties et non d'un seul bloc. Les patins "anti glisse" sont très très moyens et mériteraient une qualité supérieure et non cloués mais vissés.
Sinon, je suis satisfait de cet achat et correspond, en gros, à mes besoins en cuisine.
