The **TRC Knives Classic Freedom** is a versatile outdoor knife, made for campers, fishermen and hunters. The source of inspiration for this design was Ernest Hemingway. A Nobel-prize winning author, something we all know. His passion, however, was deep-sea fishing. It was something he spent most time doing. The class and qualities of Hemingway and his love for the outdoors inspired TRC to produce the Classic Freedom.

The Classic Freedom is the baby brother of the This is Freedom. The same looks, only slightly more compact. Campers, fishermen and hunters can easily use the Classic Freedom. The handle is made from canvas micarta and enhanced with massive grooves which give you a lot of grip. By polishing the handle material you end up with a look and feel that is both bad-ass and chic at the same time. The fact that the handle is relatively thin is also great. As such you can compactly carry the TRC Classic Freedom on your hip.

## FFG: Full Flat Grind

This is the so-called *FFG* version of the Classic Freedom. This means that the flat grind doesn't stop halfway through the blade, but runs towards the spine of the blade. As such you experience even less cutting resistance, making this version of the Classic Freedom even better to use.

The blade is made from Böhler M390. A premium type of steel which many knife enthusiasts consider to be the best out there. It retains its sharpness well and is very corrosion resistant. This feature is, of course, perfect when you spend a lot of time on the water. The spine of the blade is nicely curved and the subtle jimping for your thumb are neatly applied.

The Classic Freedom comes with a solid leather sheath. Maximum belt width: 5.5 cm.
