The Spyderco Para 3 C223GPS is the successor of the Spyderco Paramilitary 2. Well, not completely. Globally the same shape, same lock and the same type, only smaller. The Para 3 is a cm shorter. It is an adjustment many Spyderco enthusiasts asked for despite the widely acclaimed Paramilitary 2. The adjustment to a slightly more compact model increased the wearing comfort. Other than that the Para 3 includes all characteristics of the Paramilitary 2.

Lovely to hold and very very sharp. Very easy to open in one hand. Legal blade length and fits horizontally in work trouser pocket. Hole for cord to secure knife on chosen keep safe arrangement ideal. Wasn't happy with force required to remove clip which had to be bent/forced and removed. Not sure how easy it will be to sharpen this knife but I reckon the steel is good so it won't be a problem for me. I did have this issue with the very small Ladybug by Spyderco but at a quarter of the price its not really suprising. Very Happy with this everyday tool. SPB.
