The Spyderco Counter Puppy is a new concept within the Spyderco kitchen knife range. The handle is shaped to resemble the body and four paws of a puppy. With these 'paws' the knife will stand upright on your countertop or table. They also ensure that the knife stays clean and will look amazing.

Knife works well but when placed downwards on the work counter the knife nearly always manages to sit with the sharp edge of the blade facing upwards . In the detailed description of the knife it was praised for the safety festure of the sharp edge of the blade facing downwards when the knife is put down when in fact the opposite is true. This is presumably a design fault!
