The Spartan Blades Ares is a tough survival knife that was made in the United States. Its profile is relatively slim, and yet, because of its 13.8 cm blade, easy to use in the field. Curtis Lovito and Mark Carey, founders of Spartan Blades, both have a military background. Keeping that target group in mind they designed the Spartan Ares. It will look great on your flak jacket and can definitely handle the challenges of a deployment.

Being Ex military, I got this as I still like to wander in the forests of UK/France. One day it will be passed on to a family member who serves in any of the forces. Very well made and very secure fit in the kydex sheath. can be worn or carried in almost any position. I would def recommend this item for SF operators, and those interested in bushcraft/camping.

Bought this knife as it was 45th birthday and I wanted a knife in the steel cpm s45vn and this was all I could find! That being said this is an awesome blade, the steel is great and the knife fierce looking sits like a dream in hand, So overall I am extremely impressed with the quality of the knife.
