The**Southern Grind Spider Monkey** is a great EDC pocket knife. The function, the use of materials and the format are suitable for this. The pointed drop-point blade has a thin grind and is enhanced with a stonewashed finish. This finish is comfortable for daily use because dirt and scratches hardly stand out. Ideal knife for a daily use. The blade is made from CPM S35VN steel. A stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness well, but is also easy to sharpen. 

 The handle of the Spider Monkey is made from carbon fibre. The almost spatial drawing of the fibres is striking. You rarely come across such a beautiful piece of carbon fibre on a production knife. In between the handle you will find titanium liners. Sturdy, stainless and light-weight. You also find a liner lock in these titanium liners. This keeps the blade in place when opened. Characteristic for Southern Grind pocket knives is the early lock-up. This means that any wear and tear in the (very) long run does not affect the lifespan of the lock.

 Another characteristic is the pocketclip. Southern Grind uses a short, wide pocket clip. Not very conventional but very functional. It stays in your pocket at least as well but is even more discrete. Moreover, we have the impression that it keeps your pocket tidy.

 The Southern Grind Spider Monkey is a knife that belongs in every collection. A very nice design with beautiful lines, excellent use of materials and a great finish. The Spider Monkey is the best example of a perfect EDC knife.
