The **Rick Hinderer The Emmett** is a compact hunting knife, made by Rick Hinderer Knives. For the Emmett function comes first. The start of the Bowie-style blade is straight for various cutting tasks that can come in handy when gutting game. The top of the blade is enhanced with an additional cut-out for your thumb that helps you apply additional force for push cuts. The pointed tip is perfect for the finer cutting tasks or when you need to cut in a difficult to reach spot.

The blade is made from CPM 20CV-steel. A premium type of powder steel. You can expect excellent sharpness retention from CPM 20CV, combined with corrosion resistance. So great for a hunting knife.

Combined with the bowie blade the canvas micarta handle leaves you with a tough and robust look. Nice about the micarta is how it absorbs the grease of your hand and therefore forms a type of patina. A such each knife will become unique in time. Experts immediately see the ergonomically-shaped handle of the XM-18. The scales are rounded to make sure the handle nicely fills the palm of your hand.

A premium hunting knife needs a premium sheath. The sheath of The Emmett is made by hand by Woodland Harness. It is made from thick leather and enhanced with a Rick Hinderer Knives logo.
