The **Reate K2** is a sleek and elegant top-quality pocket knife. For this design Reate became inspired by the beloved Kwaiken pocket knives. The blade has a relatively straight spine and, when opened, is perfectly aligned with the spine of the handle. When closed you also notice that the blade seamlessly fits inside the handle. It is definitely the key word to use when you talk about Reate Knives: precision.


The blade is made from CPM S35VN steel. A stainless type of powdered steel that retains its sharpness well, can easily be sharpened and can withstand quite a lot. The stunning hollow grind has a nice *satin finish*. You open the knife with the flipper. The ceramic detent (which normally keeps the blade inside the handle) is perfectly adjusted. Strong enough to properly use the flipper, soft enough to not strain your finger. The ceramic ball bearings around the pivot ensure that it runs smoothly. When opened the blade is locked by a solid frame lock. As you might expect from Reate the lockbar has been enhanced with a steel insert that guarantees a perfect lockup for years.


The titanium handle has been embellished with different finishes. The reasonably monochrome bronze finish ensures that everything fits well together. The backspacer looks amazing, and the subtle shiny accents make it look extra special.


The Reate K2 comes in a luxurious storage pouch with an extra bag with two steel rings and additional screws. As such you will already own the spare parts necessary for this knife. Very consumer-friendly!
