Ontario RAT-3 Gobar 8660, survival knife

The Ontario RAT-3 Gobar 8660 is a solid survival knife and an alternative to the original Rat-3 model. The chisel-shaped blade is made from 1075 carbon steel, which is strong and easy to sharpen. The extremely sustainable powder coating on the blade protects it from the increased corrosion sensitivity of the carbon steel. Still, we recommend you keep this knife dry and possibly slightly greasy. The wonderful usage qualities of the steel guarantee a lifetime of fun. The knife is enhanced with a micarta handle. The handle feels slightly coarse. This is great because it is comfortable to hold and offers enough grip.
