Full description
The Ohta FK7 higonokami pocket knife was designed and made by hand by Hiroaki Ohta. The design of this Japanese knife maker looks a lot like that of the famous Higonokami knives. Strictly speaking it isn't a Higonokami knife because only one producer can use the term Higonokami.

Ok the handle is much much darker on my example. The brown canvas Micarta is polished leaving it much darker by appearance, so it looks a bit like wood until you get close up. This one is unsigned which doesn't bother me at all only adds to the handmade nature of this knife. Very smooth and sharp perfect size and balance. Made in Japan by one man for the money it's a triumph for sure.
