The **MKM Omnia MK-OM-CF Black Carbon Fiber** is a stylish sommelier knife, made in Italy. This sommelier knife works using a two-stage lever mechanism that allows you to effortlessly pull the cork from the bottle in two simple steps. This sommelier knife includes a bottle opener, capsule cutter and a corkscrew. The serrated section on the inside of the handle makes it easy to open champagne bottles. The silver colour of the stainless-steel handle gives this sommelier knife a subtle and professional look.

## MKM Omnia materials

The handle is made from stainless steel with scales of elegant carbon fibre. The capsule cutter and spiral are made of hardened, stainless AISI 420 steel for additional durability. The lever is made of stainless steel with a nice, satin finish. 

## How to use the MKM Omnia sommelier knife

Remove any dust or moisture on the outside of the bottle to prevent slipping. Then use the capsule cutter to cut away the capsule around the neck. Put the bottle on the table, place the spiral in the centre of the cork and twist it gently. Don't turn the spiral down too far! This might cause the cork to tear. Instead, place the lever on the rim of the bottle and gently pull out the cork. With 2-step sommelier knives, you will then place the second part of the lever around the neck of the bottle to remove the cork in its entirety.
