The **Mcusta MC-193C Friction Folder** is a nice gentleman's knife. It can easily be opened with the front flipper, and a subtle slipjoint keeps the blade open. This means that the knife doesn't really have an actual lock. As such you can carry this knife almost everywhere in the world.

The blade is made from a core of hard VG10 steel, laminated in between two layers of soft steel. This gives you the benefits of the hardness of the core, combined with the flexibility of the laminated steel. Mcusta used pakka wood for the handle. A laminate of thin layers of wood that are impregnated with strong synthetic resin. As such it is very strong and stable. Perfect for a knife handle. Some layers have a different colour which makes the whole look even better.

This Mcusta comes in a traditional Japanese case. The weaving of this is truly stunning.

Very nice folder! After some mixed reviews i've read about Mcusta i was not expecting this folder to have such a good fit&finish. Very good ergonomics and beautiful blade.

This knife is the smoothest one I ever had. Such a precision and care in to the details is rare to see today. 
A bit on the high price but this is what you pay for top quality. 
Recommend it!
