The **Knafs Lander 4** is an EDC knife designed by **Ben Petersen**. During the design process, Ben asked himself: *'What is missing from the Lander series? ”* The answer was clear: *"A fixed EDC knife that is easy to carry.'*  

After several cardboard prototypes, he found the perfect design: a 3.5-finger grip with an excellent balance between blade and handle. For added control and grip, a **brass booster bead** was added, inspired by the Rocketdyne F-1 rocket motor that launched the Saturn V to space.




The blade of the Knafs Lander 4 KNAFS-00394 Moondust Micarta, fixed knife measures 6.6 cm in length and 2.54 mm in thickness. The total length is 15 cm.



## Blade made of Sandvik 14C28N steel
The blade of the Knafs Lander 4 KNAFS-00394 Moondust Micarta, fixed knife is made of 14C28N. This is an excellent knife steel from Sweden. It is corrosion resistant, retains its sharpness well, is quite tough and easy to sharpen yourself. What more could you possibly want?



The blade features a blackwashed finish. For this finish, the blade is first finished with a coating, then tumbled. This makes the blade look like it has been around for a while, kind of like jeans. A big advantage of this is that traces of use will be much less noticeable.



## Micarta handle 
The handle of the Knafs Lander 4 KNAFS-00394 Moondust Micarta, fixed knife is made of micarta. This is a composite material made of fabric and synthetic resin. If you look closely, you can see a subtle texture on the surface, sometimes it looks almost like wood. This material is strong and stable, and it's very grippy.



The Knafs Lander 4 KNAFS-00394 Moondust Micarta, fixed knife comes with a sheath made of kydex, a sturdy plastic that will keep the steel safe. However, it is important to keep a kydex sheath clean on the inside. Rinse it regularly with water. This will prevent dirt from remaining in the sheath, which can scratch the blade.
