The **Kizer Shamshir KI4517** 

 **is a remarkable pocket knife, designed by Azo with a nod to the past. The Kizer Shamshir was namely inspired by the Shamshir. A sword from the Middle-East with a curved blade. You can tell when you look at the design of the Kizer Shamshir. The spine is namely not straight but slighty curved. This type of blade is therefore also called a Persian-style blade. Named after the country where the Shamshir comes from.**  **Kizer enhanced the Shamshir with a S35VN steel blade. A great type of steel that retains its sharpness well. The handle is made from titanium and feels comfortable in hand. During use the backspacer is located in the palm of your hand. The ridges on the backspacer offer additional grip. Kizer also added a backspacer to the lanyard hole. This was neatly done and doesn't stand out at all. A nice detail!**

 **You don't carry the Kizer Shamshir in a sheath. A solid pocket clip will suffice. With it you can easily secure the Shamshir on the edge of your pocket. You open the Shamshir with the thumb studs after which a framelock locks the blade. The knife moves smoothly thanks to the use of the ball bearings.**
