The **Kershaw Coilover 1348** is a seemingly simple pocket knife that opens quickly. When opening the knife with the flipper or thumb stud the blade is supported by an *assisted opening* mechanism. This is a spring that, as you push the thumb stud, gets to work and opens the blade. As such you can immediately get started.



Because of its appealing price this knife does not belong in a showcase. It is meant to be used. The FRN handle feels great in hand and the blade is made from 8Cr13MoV steel. A simple stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness well. Also good to know: you can easily sharpen this type of steel. As such you will neve leave home with a blunt knife.

Eerste Kershaw mes dat ik koop. ik ben steeds een heftige Coldsteel fan geweest maar wat dit merk levert voor zo'n lage prijs is geniaal. Vlijmscherp en ook het flipper assisted openingssysteem werkt zo goed en is zo handig dat ik vrij kort nadien meteen een tweede Kershaw heb gekocht die iets groter is want alhoewel ik heel blij met dit mes ben, is het eigenlijk te klein om ook als backup selfdefense tool gebruikt te worden.. Daar is het ook niet voor bedoeld...

Excellent rapport qualité-prix performance tiens bien en main manche un peu plus gros que le kershaw atmos.
