This Hultafors splitting axe is a great when splitting firewood. A little more compact than you are used to from the average splitting axe. Perfect for smaller splitting tasks, or users with shorter arms. The head is shaped as such that it cannot get stuck inside a log of wood. As such you can continue to work.

I've been after a small splitter that will slide down the outside of my pack for a while. This Hultafors fit the bill perfectly, the wedge shaped head has a decent weight and makes short work of even large logs. The price was amazing, I couldn't find anything else that came close, in fact I was slightly suspicious not having ordered from Knives and Tools before. The axe arrived 3 days after ordering and is getting well used. Many thanks and I look forward to shopping with you again.
