The **GiantMouse ACE Riv Green** is a compact pocket knife, designed by Jens Ansø and Jesper Voxnaes. At first glance the Riv looks like a smaller version of the famous ACE Biblio. This is not the case. Simply shrinking an existing design is not what GiantMouse is about. This knife did draw inspiration from it, though. For the Riv, GiantMouse went back to the drawing board. The result is a small pocket knife with the same excellent ergonomics as the ACE Biblio.

GiantMouse designed the Riv as a backup pocket knife. Alongside a larger folding or fixed knife. Hence the size. But despite its diminutive proportions, the Riv can easily be used as a primary EDC knife. The Riv is perfect for opening packaging, and its blade shape also makes it ideal for food prep. The finger groove at the start of the blade gives you lots of control over the knife.

In terms of materials, GiantMouse has only used the best of the best. Premium Elmax steel and a solid titanium frame lock. The finish is also great. The Riv has been produced by Reate Knives, a Chinese brand that is well-known for its excellent quality.

The handle of this version is made from brass, so it is heavy and reliable. A patina will form over time, making the knife unique!

Like many other GiantMouse knives, the Riv is named after a location beloved by the GiantMouse team. The Riv is a historic local bar in East Lansing where the GiantMouse HQ is located. A bar which Jim Wirth, the GiantMouse CEO, often visited as a student.

## GiantMouse ACE line

The GiantMouse ACE line was developed to meet the ever-growing demand for GiantMouse knives. After some Limited Editions that sold out in the blink of an eye, demand continued to grow. And so the ACE collection was born. Designs with the same cool style, using the same premium steel, but more accessible to all.
