The **Fox Edge Lycosa 2** is a cool, tactical fixed knife. The handle is made from black G10. Solid and lightweight. It looks amazing and offers enough grip. The handle is enhanced with a number of finger grooves. It makes the whole look really cool and it offers you even more grip over the knife. The large blade is made from 8Cr13MoV steel. A stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness well and is also easy to sharpen. This version of the Lycosa is enhanced with a droppoint-shaped blade. 

With the included Kydex sheath you can easily attach the knife to your belt. As such you can always easily take it with you. The handle has a slim design and is made from lightweight materials. As such the knife, despite its large blade, is still nice and lightweight.

Waar gaan we het over hebben? Juist over een Italiaans ontwerpje. Dan zit je qua design altijd goed. Dat kun je aan die jongens over laten. In dit geval is er ook niets aan te merken op de uitvoering. Dat kan je, als je je specs goed benadrukt, dan weer over laten aan de Chinezen. 
G10 handvat en 8Cr staal. Valt weinig bezwaar tegen aan te maken. Beiden hebben zich uitentreuren bewezen. Ja er is beter te krijgen maar voor de prijs is het allemaal prima.
Het mes krijgt het label tactical mee. Heeft misschien te maken met de het feit dat het lemmet ook zwart is. Dat mag, maar in mijn optiek is dit meer een mes voor edc/bushcraft. Het lemmet is niet super dik, komt redelijk in de buurt van de betere Mora’s. Net zoals de lengte van het lemmet. Uiteraard hebben we hier geen scandi slijping maar meer een sabelbont. Dat werkt doorgaans meer dan voldoende. 
Verder ben ik zeer te spreken over de ergonomie van het handvat. Het houdt prettig beet. Moet ik bij zeggen dat ik kleine handen heb. Iemand met grote klauwen zal er misschien heel anders over denken.
Bottomline: mooi mesje, bruikbaar, degenlijk en zeer betaalbaar. Aanradertje.
