The **Extrema Ratio BFO** is the smallest pocket knife in the Extrema Ratio range. The blade is just 5.5 cm long. This makes the BFO particularly suitable for everyday use or as a backup pocket knife alongside a larger knife.

You open the blade of this version with the front flipper, after which a solid liner lock locks the blade. You can carry the BFO with the pocket clip, or simply put it in your pocket without using the clip.

## Böhler N690 steel blade

The blade is made from Austrian Böhler N690 steel. This is a stainless steel with long sharpness retention that is also used for surgical tools. N690 is highly durable and can be sharpened until razor sharp.

## Nylon handle

Ciao, ho acquistato questo coltello perché non avevo mai posseduto un extrema ratio ed il prezzo per me era accessibile.   bello, leggero, maneggevole e probabilmente tecnologicamente valido ma… Guardando le prove di un famoso collaudatore di coltelli del web , ovvero Floriano del PDT , Ho provato a tagliare un foglio di carta e nonostante la lama fosse perfetta, non la tagliava ma stracciava. anche la apertura con il pollice mi sembra un pochino dura. Ho chiesto info al produttore il quale mi ha rimandato al venditore il quale mi ha fatto tante domande ma nessuna risposta. Per l’uso che ne faccio io, di giocarci come antistress, va bene lo stesso… Magari una corda un legno il panino, Salame o la carne li taglia bene , ma la carta no.
