The **CRKT Heron 2440** is a compact pocket knife, designed by Lucas Burnley. Even though the blade is only 7.4 cm long, it is very solid. It is the result of the 3.8 mm thick blade. Quite impressive, for such a compact knife! The sheepsfoot blade has a fairly straight edge, with a pointed tip.



You open the CRKT Heron with the thumb hole, after which a solid steel framelock will lock the blade. As a result your fingers are safe. The blade is made from 8Cr14CoMov steel. Sounds difficult, but it is simply a good type of steel you can easily sharpen yourself. The show side of the handle is made from Desert Tan G10 with a carbon fibre top layer. These two colours are in nice contrast with each other.
