The **Chris Reeve Mnandi** is a beautifully designed gentleman's pocket knife made from first-class materials. It has a sandblasted titanium handle, with bog oak wood inlays and a pocket clip that can be placed on two sides.



Chris Reeve has a knack for perfectly combining form and function. The Mnandi isn't just great to look at, it's also ingeniously constructed. One example is the adjustable pocket clip. Chris Reeve has made the clip in such a way that you don't see a screw head on it. A bushing turns around the screw protruding from the clip from the other side of the handle. Brilliant!


With a little practice the Mnandi can be opened with one hand with the help of the cut-out in the blade. At first, though, it's probably best to open the knife with two hands. When opened the blade is locked in place by a frame lock. Even though this small folding knife may look a little austere, the quality of the materials used and the finish are absolutely exceptional. Which we've come to expect from all Chris Reeve knives.


The blade is made from CPM S45VN steel, an American steel that made its debut in the Mnandi in 2021. Compared to S35VN, S45VN has slightly better sharpness retention, and it's also a bit easier to sharpen.
