Benchmade Vector 496 pocket knife

The Benchmade Vector 496 is a robust EDC knife. The Vector is the first Benchmade knife enhanced with a compound grind. This means that it was sharpened at two different angles. Not the edge, but the thickness of the entire blade. This doesn't only look really cool, it also ensures that the tip is a little more robust than the rest of the blade. As such you make sure the tip doesn't break off or is damaged during the more demanding tasks. The knife is made from 20CV steel. A great type of steel that retains its sharpness well. Because of the curve in the blade the Vector is perfect when cutting through boxes, rope and tie-rips.
