The Bark River Bird & Trout is a light-weight hunting knife, designed for poultry and fish. Hence the name bird & trout. Many knife makers have produced a version of this classic idea. Few knives, however, come close to this Bark River. This knife is incredibly thin behind the edge. As such it cuts like no other. Because the edge is convex, it will retain its sharpness well. This knife excels when hunting or fishing. It has also proven its worth in the kitchen a thousand times over. With its thin blade, this knie is less suitable for bushcraft actitivities and woodworking.
