Despite its compact dimensions (14 cm long and weighing just 85 grams without battery), the Fenix PD35 V3.0 offers exceptional performance. Power and battery indicator

The Fenix PD35 V3.0 runs optimally on a rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery (which is included), but it is also compatible with two CR123A batteries. The side switch, made of wear-resistant metal, also functions as a battery indicator. The indicator shows the battery status using coloured LED lights: green means fully charged, flashing green means sufficiently charged, red means almost depleted and flashing red means please charge now. This feature is particularly useful to ensure that you never run out of power unexpectedly.

Prevent a too deeply discharged battery

To optimise the lifespan of the battery, always make sure to unscrew the tail cap a bit if you're not going to be using it for a while. Charging regularly prevents the battery from slowly draining, which could cause a deep discharge that might irreversibly damage the battery. For torches with a built-in battery that cannot be removed, it is recommended to recharge the lamp every three to four months, even when it is not in use.
