The **Zero Tolerance 452CF** is a very beautiful pocket knife with a decent size. With a blade length of 10.4 cm and a total length of 23.4 cm this is a knife which people that have big hands will enjoy. The knife is designed by custom knife maker Dmitry Sinkevich. Initially he designed the limited edition 454 for Zero Tolerance. A very popular model, but was soon discontinued. This 452CF has the same size as the 454, but the choice of material for the handle and blade finish are different.
  
  


The left handle made is out of carbon. It’s nicely rounded on the edges which improves comfort even with use over a longer period of time. The right side of the handle is made of titanium. This includes a beautiful stonewashed finish. The knife locks in open position by a sturdy frame-lock. It has a steel insert which also acts as an ‘overtravel-stop’. This prevents the locking-bar to be pushed outside the frame while unlocking. 
  
  


The knife opens up really smoothly with the flipper. This is due to the KVT-ball bearing system that has been placed around the pivot. The S35VN-steel blade is delivered very sharp, but can also be sharpened by yourself really well. It is a popular type of steel that retains its sharpness well.

Reeds vaker naar dit mes gekeken, nu, na jaren uiteindelijk besteld. Een beetje dubbel gevoel nu ik het in bezit heb. Ja, het is technisch mooi, aan de kwaliteit twijfel ik geen moment...maar ik mis iets. Het openen vergt gewenning omdat je je hand (jawel, grote handen) wel in een haast onmogelijke houding moet vouwen om het via de flipper te openen. Ik kreeg er kramp van in mijn pink, ook nog nooit gehad. Nu na twee weken eindelijk van verlost. Het sluiten dan...ik knip mijn nagels altijd heel kort...en dan is het sluiten  via de liner lock, als onderdeel van het taaie titanium heft, een aanvankelijk pijnlijke aangelegenheid. Ik heb mijn duimnagel iets minder kort geknipt nu en dat werkt al een stuk beter. Als fervent liefhebber van de fontenille pataud messen, die volledig handgemaakt zijn mis ik het organische aan dit mes, een geopend fontenille pataud mes voelt extreem veel beter in mijn hand  natuurlijker, warmer. Desalniettemin blijft het mes in mijn bezit, even snel in de pocket van mijn jeans is ie snel meegenomen. 

Top mes, zeer mooie, maar iets te groot voor edc.

Excelente calidad. Es difícil de afilar al ser un acero tan duro pero mantiene bien el filo a cambio. Muy buen cuchilllo.
