Excellent set of knives

De eerste keer dat ik het broodmes gebruikte, sneed ik een broodje open met de kracht die ik bij mijn oude broodmes gewend was. En belandde ik bij de huisartsenpost om mijn hand te laten hechten. Dus ja, het zijn zeer scherpe messen. Voldoen helemaal aan de verwachtingen. Mooi vorm gegeven en liggen goed in de hand. Zeker voor deze prijs een zeer kwalitatief messenblok.

Ik heb deze set gekocht omdat wij eindelijk eens van die verzameling van verschillende goedkope messen af wilde. Eigenlijk wilde ik de Classic set kopen omdat ik die mooier vind om te zien, maar ik had een limiet van 200 euro ingesteld. Daarnaast heb ik de Goutmet serie voor 99 euro ook overwogen maar was toch bang dat ik daar spijt van zou krijgen. 

Mijn eerste indruk is dat het een mooie set messen is die uit de doos vlijmscherp zijn.  Verder liggen ze liggen goed in de hand en met het blok heb je alles lekker binnen handbereik. Ik moet wel even wennen aan het koksmes die wat groter is dan ik gewend ben. Daarnaast denk ik dat ik het vleesmes weinig zal gebruiken  maar meer behoefte zou hebben aan het Santoku mes.

Het broodmes is geniaal. Ik raad iedereen aan om een goed en scherp broodmes aan te schaffen. Als boter gaat deze door vers gebakken broodjes geen.

Al met al erg tevreden over de set maar puur functioneel zou je aan aan drie messen genoeg hebben. (in de hobby keuken)
