The **Work Sharp Benchstone Tri-brasive knife sharpener** is a versatile knife sharpener for in your workshop or simply at home. What makes this sharpener so special is that you can choose from three different sharpening stones in one compact sharpening system. You can turn the base in order to easily choose the right stone. The two sharpening angle guides ensure that as you sharpen your knives you always maintain a fixed 20 or 25 degree angle. In addition, this sharpener is enhanced with a so-called 'pivot response'. The sharpening stone moves along with your movements and, as such, also follows the shape of the blade. The result is that it is even easier to sharpen your knives using a fixed angle!


## Grain size: 320, 600 diamond and extra-fine ceramics


 With this sharpener you can fix, sharpen and polish a knife. 


**320 grit (JIS) coarse diamond:** a knife sharpener for outdoor knives or pocket knives always needs a good coarse sharpening stone. These knives are made for the more demanding tasks and therefore need to be sharpened as well. A coarse diamond-coated sharpening stone ensures that you can quickly restore the edge of a used knife and give it a sharp and straight edge.


**600 grit (JIS) fine diamond:** you will be amazed by the consistency and the speed with which the 600 grit diamond-coated stone sharpens your knives. You use this side after the 320 grit diamond-coated stone and you only need it to keep your already sharp knife in great shape!


**Fine ceramics:** the fine ceramic[aluminium oxide](/en/ct/sharpening-stone-materials-which-are-the-best.htm) sharpening stone is indispensable as the last sharpening phase or to maintain your knife on a daily basis. With this side you make sure your knife will be as new again! You will use this side most. That is why, for this stone, the hardest possible ceramic particles were used. This fine ceramic sharpening stone will last a lifetime.


## Sharpening angles


This sharpener comes with two sharpening angle guides This magnetic guides have two sides. One side has a 20 degree angle for kitchen knives or pocket knives that need to be really sharp and the other side has a 25-degree angle for knives that need to handle the more demanding tasks. To change the sharpening angle you turn the guides.

Voor de prijs een prima slijpsteen.   Werkt voor mij geweldig om de muscle memory te verbeteren.   Bij het (in)slijpen kan ik aanraden wat water te gebruiken, hij moet na gebruik met water wel uit elkaar gehaald worden om roest onder de plaatjes te voorkomen.

de Benchstone is een goede messen slijper die je gemakkelijk mee kunt nemen om overal te gebruiken je maakt met dat apparaat de messen goed scherp maar je kunt volgens mij met een wat fijnere grit nog wat meer bereiken.

C'est l'affuteur parfait pour l'atelier ou la maison sans se ruiner.
Très pratique et simple d'utilisation, les lames de couteaux fixes de 11cm à 16cm passent très bien.
Une bonne stabilité de l'ensemble et de son mécanisme.
C'est de l'affutage diamant et céramique, donc ce qui se fait de mieux.
Vu le prix ça serait dommage de s'en priver.
Et pour parfaire l'affutage, je l'ai complété avec un petit cuir sur planche vendu ici pour 20 balles ;)
Mérite bien ses 5 étoiles.

Très bon aiguiseur , très facile d'emploi même pour un novice.  
Il aiguise parfaitement tous les couteaux et de manière très rapide .. je possède également le même modèle mais en format de poche , excellent pour les petits formats de couteau...
