Der Klassiker ! Guter Stahl, massiv und ab Werk sehr scharf. Für die aufgerufenen knapp 90 Euro in Ordnung - offizieller Preis klar überteuert. Kann das Endura als grössere und massivere Alternative zum Drlica und Tenacious empfehlen.

Obwohl man meinen könnte, guter Stahl gepaart mit Design kommt entweder aus der Schweiz, Italien oder Japan liegt hier völlig richtig, aber trotzdem total falsch.
Der verwendete Stahl passt sehr gut zum Messer. Ja es gibt höherwertige Stähle, die Frage ist aber immer die Alltagstauglichkeit. Dieser hier ist sehr gut schnitthaltig, lässt sich auch von blutigen Laien  nachschärfen und liegt mit 59 RW im oberen Mittelfeld. Was seit Jahren Spyderco im vorderen Drittel der Anbieter hält ist ein solides Handling und ein schnörkelloses Design. Minimalistisches Outfit, gute Auswahl aller Einzelkomponenten und ein hohes Maß an Fertigungsqualität, dafür steht auch das Endura 4. Es ist ein Handschmeichler, minimalistisch und doch elegant, kein Brecheisen jedoch auch kein Brieföffner. Das Endura 4 liegt irgendwo zwischen Adventure und Brotzeit. Ein Taschenmesser im besten Sinne, mit einen sehr guten Gesamtgewicht, so man von Gewicht noch sprechen kann, im Verhältnis zur Klingenlänge und Stahlstärke.
Klare Kaufempfehlung ***** auch ohne Korkenzieher;-)

Toppertje van spyderco die zowat door iedereen gekend is.....maar vind de ffg versie wel een klein beetje beter om een appeltje te schillen en zo.
Maar deze is dan wel iets minder gevoelig voor deukjes als je hem wat steviger wil gebruiken.
