Purchased the stone to give me a finish edge to my straight razor. It was very easy to use, gave a super sharp edge without to much effort

Delighted to get this stone at a reduced price, delivery was rapid and the packaging excellent. Will need to hone my sharpening skills to do justice to the product but have already seen what the highly polished edge on my plane iron can do. I now know why Rob Cosman raves abou these stones.

Gives a fantastic mirror finish on the edge. Stropping is hardly necessary after this stone. does not dish at all i believe since it is used with minimal pressure. have used it on about a dozen knives so far and i cant see any dishing at all.
