I purchased this stone in conjunction with a 16000 stone to hone & finish a straight razor Both were very easy to use & gave me the result I was expecting. Shapton sets a standard for sharpening stones & does not disappoint.

I use this after my naniwa 3000 stone to get a mirror finish. It has good feedback and polishes very well.
