The **Real Steel Luna ECO** is a modern and affordable pocket knife, designed by Jakub Wieczorkiewicz from Poltergeist Designs. The Luna ECO is a budget-friendly version of the Luna Boost. So less fancy, but not any less functional!




The blade is made from Böhler K110 tool steel. A robust type of steel with a high carbon content. In terms of performance similar to D2 steel. Perfect for daily use. Compared to many other knives from the Luna collection, the Luna ECO is enhanced with a framelock. To prevent it from closing accidentally. You can remove the thumb stud. If you prefer a two-handed opener.




The handle is made from stainless steel. As such the knife is perfect in terms of weight. The Luna ECO is enhanced with a deep-carry pocket clip. With it you can discretely carry the knife in your pocket.

This is a beautiful knife, very well made. A little difficult to open with one hand so 'flickers' might have trouble opening it but as a general purpose compact folding pocket knife this is perfect for me. Stealthy blacked out look is great, I highly recommend!

I have problems opening and closing folding knives due to hand injuries. This causes problems when looking for a good folding knife as I need ones I can open one handed. The Luna Eco looked like it would fit the bill, but it was impossible to open or close one handed. I was able to overcome this by moving the thumb stud down the blade. It would have been nice if a star key was included for this task.                         Now the line lock was sorted by bending the metal catch, but this resulted in it not locking at all when open. The up side of this making it a legal carry in the UK, as it doesn’t lock. The pocket clip is nice and deep and feels comfortable when cutting with the knife.

I really like the shape of this knife; and it's quite affordable. It also arrived nice and sharp. I think the framelock is a bit tight so it pushes over the blade to one side. I can really tighten the pivot down to center the blade, but then you can barely open it. That's a little bit disappointing. Tried to adjust it, and add some oil but the best I could get is that the framelock doesn't push the blade all the way against the scale anymore while it's still more-or-less possible to open one-handed (still quite stiff- don't even think about thumb-flicking this one).
