The **QSP Knife Hedgehog Green Micarta** is a strong and reliable slipjoint pocket knife. It's almost a given with QSP's knives, but the Hedgehog's price-quality ratio is fantastic. The blade is enhanced with a slipjoint mechanism. This means that the knife isn't really locked. Which is nice, because it makes this knife legal to carry in many countries. You easily open this slipjoint pocket knife with two hands, using the nail nick.

## QSP Knife Hedgehog blade

The Hedgehog has a cleaver-style blade. This is a blade shape you often see with butcher's knives. Thanks to the straight edge, this blade shape is exceptionally suited for heavier tasks, like opening boxes. The blade is made from 14C28N steel. This is a stainless steel from Sweden that retains its sharpness well and is also easy to sharpen.

The handle is made from micarta. This is a composite material made from linen and synthetic resin. This material is enhanced with a light texture for additional grip.
