These knives are even better than they used to be when I was a lad. Stainless steel option plus the extra blade lock are superb. They have a functional beauty and appeal that draws me in. I buy them as gifts. Cant go wrong.

Great little pocket knife; the beech handle has a nice grain, and the stainless steel blade can be locked in or out with a simple twist of the collar. I had my blade engraved, and it came out beautifully.

Nice cheap knife, good for the price. There are a couple of things to note; 1) The blade keeps its position just by friction with the handle, rather than a springed mechanism as on more expensive knives. It works fine, but doesn't click into place or anything. 2) As it comes and as I understand it, this is not UK legal for every day carry. While the blade is within legal limits, there is a manual locking steel band around the base of the blade. You can however remove this fairly easy by prying it off with a screwdriver, thus making it UK friendly. Otherwise, I think some of the smaller Opinel knives come without the locking function that the police find so objectionable.

Great little knife,very light and super sharp. First knife for my bushcraft mad kid. Excellent customer service from this company. This was the second knife I ordered from them and on both ocasions had them engraved. They advised me on the different options and took me through the process of adjusting the designs smoothly. Very good buying experience.
