Amazing hardware for the money. I had an old mini Maglite AA that was sitting in a corner waiting for a new bulb as I had blown the last spare, and to be honest I was kinda thinking of throwing it away as the new LED AA flashlights were beating it hands on both in range and in power, not to mention energy efficiency and battery duration. So I ordered this kit and now I got a brand new LED flashlight. It's true, it is not as powerful as a new LED AA tactical flashlight from the likes of Nitecore, Olight or other brands but I was very much attached to it so converting it to LED made a lot of sense for me. Also the combo with the switch in the bottom is a great upgrade, now I don't have to turn it on and off by rotating the head and I can keep the head in the focus position I want without having to turn it every time.
