The **Nitecore HC68** is a very powerful head torch with a maximum output of 2000 lumens. It is enhanced with the so-called Spotlight/Floodlight Adjustable E-Focus Design. With it you can adjust both the spot and the floodlight mode. This, in addition to the red light, ensures that this head torch is incredibly versatile and perfect for use on the campsite, during outdoor activities, for professional use on a construction site and during search and rescue ops. 

## How to use the Nitecore HC68

Using the Nitecore HC68 head torch is easy with the buttons on the top and side of the head torch. Use the button on the side of the HC68 to turn the head torch on and off. Briefly press the buttons on the top to adjust the intensity of the light. Hold the buttons longer and switch from spotlight to floodlight mode. This head torch is enhanced with a memory function. As such the light will always return to the mode last used when you turn it on. The beam of the Nitecore HC68 had a broad reach with a 150° beam angle and a head that can be rotated up to 180°.

  * Turbo: 2000 lumens
  * Higher: 1800 lumens, average burn time of approx. 30 minutes* 
  * High: 950 lumens, average burn time of approx. 2 hours and 30 minutes
  * Medium: 250 lumens, average burn time of approx. 6 hours
  * Low: 50 lumens, average burn time of approx. 28 hours
  * Ultra-low: 1 lumen, average burn time of approx. 800 hours
  * Beacon: 2000 lumens
  * SOS: 2000 lumens

### Floodlight mode

  * Higher: 1400 lumens, average burn time of approx. 30 minutes* 
  * High: 850 lumens, average burn time of approx. 2 hours and 30 minutes
  * Medium: 220 lumens, average burn time of approx. 6 hours
  * Low: 45 lumens, average burn time of approx. 28 hours
  * Ultra-low: 1 lumen, average burn time of approx. 800 hours

### Red light

  * High: 11 lumens, average burn time of approx. 30 hours
  * Low: 3 lumens, average burn time of approx. 110 hours

*The burn time of the highest light mode is calculated at the moment the lamp is switched on in the highest mode. After 2-3 minutes, the lamp automatically switches to a lower mode due to the temperature regulation.

## Charging the Nitecore HC68

This head torch derives its power from a 18650 Li-ion battery (included). You can easily charge the light via the USB-C port in the head of the light. It is safely hidden behind a screw cap. In only three hours the light will be fully charged. You can also use this head torch with two CR123A batteries.

The Nitecore HC68 head torch comes with an 18650 Li-ion battery with a power of 3500mAh, spare O-rings and a charging cable.

Zeer hoge kwaliteit waterdichte hoofdlamp, niet de goedkoopste maar dit weegt niet op tegen de bruikbaarheid en duurzaamheid., werkt zeer goed. Batterij is verwisselbaar, zeer handig als je snel verder moet.
Ik gebruik al jaren Nitecore kwaliteitsproducten, dit naar volle tevredenheid. Een aanrader dus als je van duurzaam houdt!

Unglaubliche Reichweite im Außenbereich.

Zitten twijfelen tussen deze hoofdlamp en de fenix hm65r, de bediening van dit hoofdlampje sprak me erg aan, maar de geclaimde batterijduur van de hm65r leek wel aanzienlijk beter. Het blijkt echter dat veel merken de felheid geleidelijk naar beneden schroeven om de geclaimde brandtijd te halen. Uit onafhankelijke tests (op de sites 1lumen en zeroair) blijkt dat de fenix aanzienlijk wordt teruggeschroefd om de specs te halen. 
Daardoor heb ik gekozen voor de nitecore, zeker geen spijt van, het is een degelijk geconstrueerd lampje, de felste stand is ook echt super fel (en behaald volgens te tests ook daadwerkelijk de 2000 lumen). Vooral de bediening is erg handig, met de knop aan de zijkant voor de boost, en de + en - knop voor de felheid en focus. Wel had het "profiel" van het verloop van de focus wat anders kunnen zijn, bij indrukken verandert er voor enkele seconden vrij weinig, tot de focus vrij abrupt omslaat

Een ander klein dingetje van het lampje is de boos modus, als er een klein beetje modder o.i.d. op de lens zit zal de lichtstraal dit opwarmen, waardoor het modder kleine putjes in de lens smelt. 

Ik heb al heel wat lampjes in mijn verzameling echter wil je iedere keer weer wat nieuws en wat beters dit lampje voldoet precies aan de verwachting echte allrounder makkelijk in verschillende lichtmodus te schakelen fijn lampje
