The **Mora Companion Heavy Duty stainless** is a decent fixed knife, for a very reasonable price. The knife is nice and lightweight and exactly the right size to comfortably carry on your belt. The rubber handle feels comfortable in hand and offers plenty of grip.


The Companion has been one of the most popular bushcraft knives on the market for many years. Cheap, practical, effective. What more could you need? The spine of the blade isn't too curved, which makes it easier to use a firesteel. The blade is a Scandi grind and is easy to sharpen. This heavy duty version has a slightly thicker blade, which makes it a little stronger than the normal Companion.


Comes with an orange, hard plastic holster, which features a sturdy belt clip.

Wie üblich bei Mora ist auch das Companion HD sein ganzes Geld wert. Der etwas größere Griff und die dickere Klinge machen es für mich im täglichen Einsatz im Wald noch tauglicher als das „normale“ Companion. Schärfe wie gewohnt bei Mora von der Kategorie „Rasiermesser out of the box“. Nachschärfen mit dem DMT DiaFold super leicht und schnell wieder auf maximaler Schärfe. 
Auch die Reinigung ist wegen der pflegeleichten Materialen überhaupt kein Problem. 
Halber Stern Abzug, weil die Verarbeitung an einer kleinen Stelle am Griff (im Bereich wo die Klinge rauskommt) nicht 100%ig sauber ist - stört aber überhaupt nicht, weil man dort weder die Hand noch die Augen hat. 

Version plus grosse et plus robuste du modèle Companion , excellent rapport qualité/prix , simple, efficace et solide, que demander de plus. Je recommande a 100%.

Impression de robustesse, très tranchant et vu le prix je vais pas avoir peur de l'utiliser de façon intensive. Un véritable outil.

Veel mes voor het geld! De kleur oranje valt goed op in het gras. Mes ligt lekker in de hand en is stevig. Lekker robuust voor wat lomper werk. Prima mes, makkelijk te slijpen. Jammer dat ik hem niet kan gebruiken met een firesteel. Het mes is fijn voor je duim, maar geen scherpe rand voor een firesteel.
