Beautifully finished scales, finish seamlessly with the frame, the blade is very sharp from new and glides open, locks up solidly and flips closed with one hand. Not had it long by made numerous feather sticks to practice my skill and no sign of a dulling blade edge as yet. It is a hollow grind, not sure of the actual grind angle, guess at about half 30 degrees. Excellent knife for sinning and can be washed easily on completion, love it
