Leatherman multitools

The **Leatherman Surge** is a large multi-tool for professional use. You see straight away that this is the big brother of the popular Leatherman Wave. Similar tools, but 15% larger. The Surge is constructed as such that some parts are replaceable. Very sustainable when you use the tool often. 

 The full tang has interchangeable wire cutters. So you can sharpen them, or even replace them. The saw is also replaceable. You can trade it for the included file or for any other tool with SDS-connection. That is the standard connection you find in most jigsaws.

 Just like its little brother the Leatherman Surge has two knives that are accessible from the outside. A large serrated knife and a knife with a smooth blade. Both can be opened with one hand and both are locked by a linerblock. The saw and scissors need to be opened with both hands and are also blocked by a linerlock.

 All other tools are kept in place by a type of backlock. After all, you don't want the screwdriver to close when you are using it. On the inside you find screwdrivers, a can opener, an awl and more.

Ben zelf al een gebruiker van diverse Leatherman tools.
En dan wordt zoonlief groter en groter en is het verantwoord om hem een Leatherman cadeau te doen.
Deze is het dus geworden!

Ideaal voor de stevigere werken en/of werken met handschoenen.
Topkwaliteit, verwisselbare bits en zaag/vijlbladen zijn heel praktisch. Groot maar minder zwaar dan ik vermoedde.
Schaar is zeer stevig.
Goed geïnformeerd via Knivesandtools.be de juiste aankoop gedaan!

Een hele fijne en vooral degelijke multitool. Misschien wat zwaar maar daar was ik snel aan gewend. Ik ben erg blij met de Leatherman Surge Black, een aanrader!

Kwaliteitsproduct en dat voel je zodra je deze Surge in je handen hebt. Erg fijn in gebruik. Handig  dat er enkele direct toegankelijke tools zijn zonder uitklappen.

Let op: je krijgt smerige handen met smeer als deze Leatherman net uit de verpakking komt. Als je daar van houdt is dit gaaf! 

Loopt in begin wat stroef bij in- uitklappen, maar na even inwerken/inslijten loop die snel weer soepel.
