Comes out the box very sharp and stays that way. Unique design which fits perfectly in the hand. The tip tapers to a very sharp point so be careful using it for more heavy duty tasks. The opening mechanism is smooth but the left hand thumbstud is difficult to use. Perfect EDC if you didn't live in England. A very versatile tool.

I love it! The action is silky smooth and it came with a decent edge. No fears about tip strength unless you use your knife to open paint cans or dig the garden.
