I took some time in choosing this axe as I was removing a 3ft diameter cherry tree stump and the surface root system by hand due to it not being possible to get a stump grinder on site. Anyway, I after many hours of comparing different axes and suppliers I came across Knives and Tools. The customer service was spot on (very big on this with my suppliers) and they answered my questions. Ordered the axe which came within a few days (due to weekend). I’ve now used to axe for a few days and I can honestly say it’s been one of the best purchases I’ve made. Great quality, good handle length, not to heavy but heavy enough to inflict some damage. I can 100% recommend this axe, manufacturer and supplier. I will be ordering a smaller version soon to help when I do tree work
