The **Gerber Gator Combo Axe II** is an axe with a compact saw. The axe is perfect for outdoor activities and for survival purposes. An awesome detail is the opening in the handle. Perfectly sized to fit the hand saw which you can completely store inside. With this strong combination you will be ready for anything!


The Gerber Gator Combo Axe II is the successor of the Combo Axe I. This version has a longer handle than its predecessor. As such the impact of the stainless steel axe head is more powerful than before. In addition, the included fixed knife that comes with the Combo Axe I had been replaced by the previously mentioned hand saw.


## The famous Gator Grip


With an axe like this a strong grip shouldn’t be missing. For this reason the axe has been enhanced with a special handle with the patented Gator Grip. Made from glass reinforced nylon, surrounded by a rubber surface with the look and feel of an alligator skin to ensure a firm grip with optimal control, regardless of the weather. As such you will never have to worry about the axe slipping from your hands when you are chopping wood.


## Hand saw included


The handle of the Gerber Gator Combo Axe II has room for a compact hand saw with a 15 cm blade. With coarse serrations to cut through branches and twigs. Of course enhanced with a Gator Grip handle to make sure you will have the best grip regardless of the weather.


If you are thinking of using the axe first remove the saw from the handle. Geber indicates that the saw can be released from the handle and that is something you want to prevent. The Gator Combo Axe II comes with a protective nylon cap for the axe head.

Zeer goede bijl met combo zaag. Twee nuttige tools tesamen zonder al teveel zorg.
Had de korte versie al eens eerder gehad maar doorverkocht na aandringen van collega. 
Dit was de versie zonder extra tools. 
Zeer tevreden met de kwaliteit en zoals steeds goede service. 


Voor dit geld kan je volgens mij geen betere bijl kopen. Lekker veel grip, en precies de goede lengte. Daardoor wat krachtiger dan de echte handbijltjes die wat kleiner zijn. De inkeping onder het blad is prettig bij precisie werk. 
De zaag heb ik eerlijk gezegd nog niet uitgebreid gebruikt, maar is sowieso een leuk extraatje.
