Bought this smallest of axes to trim down firewood into starter kindling. It does a great job of it. Its light enough to split wood into what I want, small pieces of kindling. The handle is hollow, but strong, but maybe a little inch too short? maybe that's just me or I have big hands. Anyway its a good small axe, sharp, and light.
